USA Ice Team Commemorative Challenge Coin - 2010

This USA Ice Team commemorative Challenge Coin was made to commemorate the 2010 World Ice Fishing Championship in Rhinelander, WI on Boom Lake, a flowage on the Wisconsin River. This particular Championship was special as it was the event where the USAngling Ice Team finished first. The U.S. team anglers were: Doug Bussian, Columbus, Wis.; Tony Boshold, Carol Stream, Ill.; Billy Whiteside, Eau Claire, Wis.; Myron Gilbert, Brooklyn, Mich; and Bob Esbenson, Palatine, Ill. The team also included coach Greg Wilcznski of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., team captain Mike McNett of Lombard, Ill., International Delegate Joel McDearmon of Tomah, Wis. and directors Chris Ward of Chaska, Minn. and Team Vice-Captain Brian Gaber of Rhinelander, Wis. Very important to note that Mike Boedeker of Lansing, Mich. took the individual gold medal. These commemorative coins are preferred gifts to challenge fellow Ice Angler to complete, gifting for special events, or friendship exchanges.
