The United States Angling Confederation, (USAngling) is a 501c3 charitable organization that provides leadership for our USA fishing teams as they compete worldwide, share our love of competitive angling by engaging America’s youth, support conservation actions, and empower local community angling groups.  Please visit website by clicking USAngling .

USAngling's  mission centers around three principles:

• Competition: Develop teams to compete in amateur world championship sport fishing events. Host world championship, national championship, and national team qualification sport fishing events.
• Conservation: Promote environmental stewardship, catch & release angling, responsible harvest initiatives, and natural resource management.
• Community: Enrich local communities both economically and socially by conducting fishing events, educating local fishing clubs, and executing regional outdoor initiatives.

USAngling's focus is to introduce the American public to World Championship angling, and invite them to pursue the exhilarating honor of representing our country in the spirit of the Olympic ideal.

We are actively recruiting coaches, teachers, volunteers, and athletes in a variety of demographics, including America’s best:  Men, Women, Youth, Senior Citizen, and Disabled athletes.

We further endeavor to collaborate with other non-profit, government, and private sector organizations to advocate for America’s natural resources, conservation efforts, and community service opportunities.

USAngling is proud to be America’s home for World Championship angling. We are recognized as the sole USA representative to the Confédération Internationale de la Pêche Sportive, the world sport fishing governing body as recognized by SportAccord. 

Confédération Internationale de la Pêche Sportive, (CIPS) is currently made up of 115 member nations representing over 50 Million competitive anglers.  It is made up of three federations:  FIPSed (fresh water), FIPS Mouche (fly fishing), and FIPS Mer (salt water). These divisions are further broken down into various teams and disciplines.  USA Angling, has the privilege of representing all of these United States fishing teams.   At present there are a total of 15 Freshwater sports, 4 Fly Fishing sports, 17 Saltwater sports, and 1 Casting sport.  Please visit the CIPS website .  Follow all CIPS International Sports Fishing Confederation events and Federation information on your Apple or Android phone on the CIPS mobile application. Apple Store or Google Play

SportAccord is a not-for profit global sport business event organisation focused on driving positive change internationally and dedicated to engaging and connecting; international sport federations, rights holders, organising committees, cities, press and media, businesses and other organisations involved in the development and business of sport.   SportAccord events annually bring together representatives from more than 125 International Sport Federations affiliated with the following umbrella organisations.

SportAccord.  stakeholders include: ASOIF (Association of Summer Olympic International Federations), AIOWF (Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations), ARISF (Association of IOC Recognised International Sports Federations), AIMS (Alliance of Independent Recognised Members of Sport), GAISF (Global Association of International Sports Federations) and Associate Members.  

In addition, SportAccord.  receives the full support of the IOC (International Olympic Committee).
