Join us for our one-day REEL GIRLS fly fishing clinic.
We are partnering with the PA Fish and Boat Commission to offer this hands-on clinic which will introduce young female anglers, ages 12-18, to fly fishing. They will learn the basics of fly fishing, including equipment, casting, and fly selection with some time on the stream to practice.
A section on the importance of stream conservation and wild trout habitat preservation will be included.
Due to a generous donation from takemefishing.org, the clinic will be offered free of charge. A $30.00 registration fee will be required to hold your place and will be fully refunded upon successful completion of the clinic.
The clinic will include some snacks, drinks, a box lunch, some fly fishing equipment, a fly fishing booklet and instruction for the day. Anglers are encouraged to bring their own rods, reels, line, nets, waders, boots and flies if they have them.
